A dedication to horsemanship

Ally began her competitive riding career under the tutelage of Donna Goddard Pace in Redding, CT (Sunset Hill Farm/Nautilus Farm). As a junior, Ally was fortunate enough to compete on the A-circuit regularly at such acclaimed show grounds as Old Salem Farm, Fairfield County Hunt Club, Ox Ridge Hunt Club, and HITS Saugerties. As her junior years ended, Ally pursued riding in college and was captain of the equestrian team at Connecticut College. As captain of the Connecticut College equestrian team, Ally helped move the program to Mystic Valley Hunt Club and ensured its competitive future with coach Richard Luckhardt.

In 2009, Ally moved out to Colorado, and met the horsewoman who would become her employer, and mentor, Ann Hanna.  As director of the equestrian program at Fountain Valley School, Ann Hanna encouraged Ally to forgo her amateur status and pursue a career in the horse world.  Under Hanna’s guidance, Ally was one of the first professionals in Colorado to obtain her USHJA Trainer Certification and spent seven years as the assistant coach of the nationally recognized IEA team at Fountain Valley School of Colorado.  In addition to coaching the FVS IEA team, Ally trained junior riders in the equitation, hunter, and jumper rings at both local and rated shows throughout Colorado and Arizona.

Ally is committed to good horsemanship, and as such, she never misses an opportunity to learn. Ally has both ridden in and audited clinics by such greats as Rita Timpanero, George Morris, Bernie Traurig, Nick Karazissis, Diane Carney, and Joanne Waring.

After taking a few years off to focus on family and raising her young daughters, Ally is happy to announce that she is back in the saddle and ready to help you pursue your equestrian goals!
